Interdisciplinary Researches for future clinical practice

We have particular interest in micro- and nano- structural observation. Our main themes are “multiscale research of tooth fracture”, “structural characterization of the implant and bone interface”, “Interfacial structural analysis of restorative materials (photograph) ” and so on. In particular, three-dimensional observation of undemineralized hard tissue using tomography, with nano fabrication technique (focused ion beam) and ultra-high voltage electron microscope (photograph) has been attracting attention as a new method of structure analysis.
These research provide pure evidences for clinical treatment.
