Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to inform you that the 10th International Symposium “Oral Neuroscience 2025 in Osaka” will be held on April 4 (Sat), 2026 at the Yumikura Memorial Hall of the Graduate School of Dentistry located in Suita campus of Osaka University

Currently, maintaining oral health and oral function is considered as important for overall health and quality of life, not only by affecting a wide range of functions essential for survival and social life, including breathing, eating, drinking, speech, facial impression and much more, but also through potential links to various disease, such as endocarditis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. Therefore, cross-disciplinary neuroscience research using the latest cutting-edge approaches will contribute to a better understanding of the “complex” oral functions and the oral-systemic disease connection.

The aim of this symposium is to provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the current achievements in the fields related to oral neuroscience. And, we hope many scientists, researchers and PhD students, who are interested in oral neuroscience, will participate in this symposium and obtain fresh inspiration and ideas from the talks and discussions towards the future. Especially, we encourage young researchers and PhD students, who are the next generation in oral neuroscience, to present their work at the symposium [you can choose preferred your presentation: Oral Sessions (30 minutes) or Lightning Talk Sessions (10 minutes)], and to discuss with the recognized researchers in English. In addition to a scientific program, this symposium includes a social event “Information Exchange Meeting” to afford all participants an excellent research networking opportunity.
